Scientist character

i am preparing a sci-fi campaign with SSEH and one of my future player desire playing a hard core scientist (physics, astronomy, xenobiology)...so i am a little stressed because there is only one true science speciality : Agronomy

How manage this issue ?

It's seems that all human can move at 10m by second (60 m in 6s for size 1 character). All guys are olympic athletes ?
So the Tactical Move is 20m by turn.

I suggest a 5m by second : Move (sprint) of 30m/turn and Tactical Move of 10m/turn.

I am a little surprise that the Hit Dice of the Bard is D10. It's a typo or i have miss something ?
