I'll provide a picture this weekend when I have some light. Hmmm. You live in Missouri, you drink O'doul's, an...
<t>Rising Knight is good. There's a thread around here somewhere that has a link to Beacon at Enon Tor. I ran that one a couple of weeks ago for a player who had never tried C&C, but had played Basic D&D for years (albeit a while ago). It went well and we managed to squeeze it into about thr...
<t>The cool thing is that there's plenty of newer stuff that hearkens back to old southern rock and honky-tonk country without being too stuck in a time warp. Check out Cross Canadian Ragweed, Reckless Kelly, Scott Miller and the wealth of others who manage to keep music from slipping too much into ...

There should be a full listing of them on the "products" page. I put my order in via paypal about an hour ago. Here's hoping for a speedy delivery. I'll be needing this baby soon. I managed to snare an old school Basic D&D player this weekend into the C&C fray. 8)
Breakdaddy wrote: It's not as thick or heavy as my Kenzer screens, but it's quite durable. It's nothing like the flimsy crap that WOTC put out for their first 3.5e screen. The C&C screen reminds me a lot of those Flip Mats by Steel Sqwire, but a bit thicker. Cool. I know the Trolls want to maxi...

Speaking of which Trav, like my other games I'm a big "screener" CK. I plan to use both Trav's screen AND TLG's in conjunction with each other. This will produce the "ultimate wall effect."
Has anyone gotten their screen in the mail yet? If so, then how do they look? I plan on ordering mine in the next couple of days so I'm just hoping they're as cool as I've imagined. 8)
I was thinking about that one as well. Cheeplives said that he has it and it is SUPER crunchy. I like the "duel of wits" idea though. It seems like it lays out a way for debate and diplomacy to be handled with stats AND roleplaying. Neat idea.

Yeah, I used to watch the series when I was a kid and had some of the toys. I never tried the rpg. My only real experience with Palladium games was with the TMNT rpg. I still have it...but man did it suck!
That is awesome!!! I used to teach guitar when I was studying music and often used little games to get the kids to learn reading, theory and other principles which they probably wouldn't have been interested in learning otherwise. Good luck!
<t>I still like playing at a table even though I don't use miniatures. I can easily make eye contact with all of the players, and there's a sense of "We're playing now 'cause we're at the table; when we take a break and leave the table we won't be playing." Congrats on the game room DD! My wife and ...

One might try YourGamesNow.com instead for PDF purchasing.
Well they've got the TLG stuff, which is cool. They don't have any of the original TSR modules though. Only that other system which is compatible with the old TSR stuff...and hence C&C.

<t>That's totally true Stratos, but I think that the OP's main beef with RPGnow was their handling of the situation. It's kind of like that e-coli outbreak that happened at Taco Bell. It was TB's distributors' fault at what happened, but TB did a piss-poor job with customer relations. I've bought fr...

I've got 'em paper-clipped to my 2e screen. That way I can take a stroll down memory lane if I want to a play a little 2e. Yeah, Traveller's screen is awesome.
