Another vote for the Savage Solomon Kane book. It is fantastic. Straight away you can run games that read like the Solomon Kane tales. It includes not only the system but also a tailored magic system specifically for the setting. It's my favorite Savage Worlds book.

I really like the new Traveller. It's a tight little system. Personally, I'm a big fan. My players were so neutral that they didn't play the combat system to the fullest and it caused issues because I was playing NPCs to the hilt.

We wound up switching out to FATE 3.0.

Oh, yea. NKG is great. I've ordered at 4:30 p.m. EST and it arrived the next day! They must have a time warp machine.

I suggest taking the plunge and get both the PHB as well as M&T. It's what I did and I'm glad for it.

For me it's the Castellan's Arms & Armor guide.

I'm still recovering from the game. Afterward I felt like I ran a hundred yards but was too wound up to sleep before 2:30 or so. And my voice is finally coming back after going hoarse from yelling so much.

Interestingly I've never run a kill 'em and take their stuff game with Castles & Crusades. Last game I ran like that was Agon.

I have Rolemaster Express and HARP. Of the two I prefer HARP. Is it worth running? Absolutely. If you want a game that feels gritty where the PCs really have to think things through then HARP is for you. The system enforces this kind of feel.

Freakin' cold here as well. We've had snow on the ground since Monday. As of right now it's 17 degrees.

It's been pretty good but has drifted from a technical approach to the debate. Raised points seem biased by emotion skewing the intent away from veritable fact.
