Great beastie. Off topic I guess....But what I really miss from from C&C critters is the stats for attributes i.e. Dex, Str etc and what AC is made up from (actuall armour, dex mod etc). Have always found that useful info and was BIG step backwards for C&C imo.

<t>An idea for surgeon this forum allowing a roll of class hit die type (plus CON mod plus Level (latter two my idea)) as a 'surge heal' was pretty darn neat IMO. I will try this. It gives the PC a little extra something to get excited over which will mean alot at lower levels than at higher levels ...

Not wanting to mimic our world eastern cultures in my game world. I have been toying with the idea of making monks an elf only class...a strange warrior caste within elven culture.

better way to sweeten fighter class would be to upgrade with level the 'slaughter kobolds' ability i.e. at such and such level fighters can get an extra atack vs d8 HD cretaures, then d10 and so on...

i always hated remebering the 3/2 attack thing - feels awkward to implemenet imo.

Ranger combat maruder ability

<t>I've been trying to understand what the ranger's combat marauder ability is in terms of the idea behind it (the fluff). It seems like its something a fighter should have and seems a powerful ability albeit limited to certain types. Don't understand why it only increases damage without any ability...

maybe just unhitch cantrips from MP - otherwise 1st level wizard can caste 1 level 1st spell per day but then no cantrips. BTB a 1st level wizard can caste 4 cantrips and one 1st level spell.

I like it lots otherwise as was creeping towards a similar equation.
