Re: Big Aihrde Question-- sell me on the setting...
I'm lazy. I like a good pre-made setting overall. Aihrde pretty much does it for me. Combine the two S series mods (in Aihrde) with the C series. There's also the A series. Plenty there, not to mention Heart of Glass, and a few others. Keep em' coming. The less work I have to do, the better.

Re: CZ Upper Works question
I could have bought a second one at a game store (sometime after GenCon). Sat there for awhile, because let's face it...it may have been a Gary Gygax product, but it was most likely going to appeal to C&C players. LA, and Cyborg Commando, didn't fly off of the shelf. Either way, I eventually wen...

This would have been a shock to the system, just as it was when Gary's products were taken off of the marketplace.

I'm not sure if Tom Hanks ever talked about Mazes and Monsters in an interview, but I'm certain it was on his resume when he snagged his role in Forrest Gump. It's the reason Robert Zemeckis even gave Hanks the time of day.

I know, as we all do, that there's no pdf of the boxed set. I wish there was, NOT so it could be distributed all over the net, but just for private use. I don't want to manhandle my books too much. It's the old comic book guy in me. I'm always kid gloves with most everything. Thankfully, I did get t...

Re: Big Aihrde Question-- sell me on the setting...
I've owned all of the Aihrde modules since each of them were released for C&C. I have gm'd A0-A3, and have read the others. Also, I have taken groups through (in this order) Lure of Delusion, Wizard's Tower (sort of ties in-a 1.00 pdf by Stephen Chenault). From there, my players travelled east t...

dbush, as a company, we're putting on 9 games at GenCon. Plus, as stated earlier, Clovis has 2 on the schedule. I'm hoping there'll be even more, but that gives you 11 to chose from at least.

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?
Would love to get in one of your games, Clovis. I'll be in the booth every day, and then I'm running games nightly at 7pm, I think it was. Dinner for me will be Steak n' Shake in the wee hours of the morning. It's all good though. I bumped into Harold Johnson of TSR at about 1:30am. Always nice to s...

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?
There are several 1st or low level mod's, but most of them would be too long for a 4-hour convention slot. I love A0: The Rising Knight, but it's way over page count for a con. Let me get back to you. The floor is certainly open to any others who'd like to offer an opinion.

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?
Dbush, I'll certainly talk to Stephen about it in the near future. I think the idea has been talked about. Don't drive yourself mad trying to get a scenario on the schedule, but we'd certainly appreciate it. :) If you come by the booth, be sure to identify yourself. Always love meeting forum members...

Re: C&C IS incomplete, and I like it that way.
I have yet to watch the video, but I'm in full agreement regarding the beauty of C&C. Maybe I have to reference the occasional rule, class ability, and spells. Spells would be the worst of it. Then again as Tree said, that's in any game. A local game store is under new ownership, and I'm fairly ...

Re: Who's running games at GenCon?
dbush, we don't have any sort of Troll room if that's what you mean. However, feel free to submit some Castles and Crusades games at GC. TLG staff has a fair amount on the schedule, but not close to where we'd like to be. Not sure what the final cutoff is for submissions, but we'd love for you to he...

Re: North Texas RPG Con 2015
Last year, I did ntrpg solo. This year (I suspect) I'll drive down in the Trollmobile, pick Stephen up in Arkansas, then head to Dallas-Ft. Worth from there. Imagine the Indiana Jones theme, and a yellow line going from S.E. Missouri, Little Rock, Cairo, and then to DWF. I digress. I can check with ...

Re: North Texas RPG Con 2015
Thanks for your inquiry. Stephen and I will be attending NTRPG. I haven't heard for certain, but it's possible he might run his "big game". In addition to some booth work and setup, I'll be running 4-6 offerings at the con. I'll be in touch regarding the particulars of those sessions. Look...

Re: What Board/Card Games Are You Playing?
I finally had a chance to play a full game of Eclipse. I bought it for at least 20 or 30 dollars off or retail at a silent auction last year. Asmodee is the company that puts this one out. It's essentially a somewhat shorter (play time) version of FFG's Twighlight Imperium. Unfortunately, I have onl...

Can't remember to be honest. For that matter, is there a rule (in the ckg) governing the amount of time to put on or remove armor? Was just thinking about this the other day.

One of our Troll fans bought a copy of the Aliens game ata convention I attended. I tend to shy away from card games, but it looks tempting because of the subject matter.

The box to head to the head video is a laugh riot. Stephen and Davis laughing at the end reminds me of some Dom Deluise and Burt Renolds bloopers at the end of Cannonball Run.
