<t>Oops. I forgot about the Rock and Roll argument. Yeah. Rock music(by and large died a long time ago. Not going to totally write off everything. Wasn't a huge alternative fan initially, but let's face it...Stone Temple Pilots, Alice n' Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Weezer were pretty good. And, ...

<t>The old original vs. prequel argument. Well, I'll admit that I'm more of original fan, but...I didn't totally hate the prequel trilogy. Admittedly, there's plenty to criticize. Some of the acting(namely the two Anakin's and Padme. YES, she paled in comparison to Carrie Fisher's initial performanc...

<t>Little too mechanics heavy for me. Jolly and Co. do a great job, and it would be nice to play with an experienced gm. That said, I quickly sold my copy of the book. I'll probably stick with my old standby...Deadlands Reloaded, or original Deadlands. Either way, Jolly put out a fine book that does...

<t>I agree. Connery was the best. That said, I like Daniel Craig, and Timothy Dalton a great deal. Even Brosnan was good. I became more aware of Bond in the late 70's and early 80's, and also like Moore. I don't hate him, but he's lower on the list for me, partly due to the cheesy direction they too...

<t>Using the remaining original cast? Maybe, maybe not. I actually saw George Takei and Walter Koening(in person again) around Labor Day, and saw Nichelle Nichols last year. None of the them are looking terribly bad all things considered. Takei has a bit of a balding area that he didn't used to have...

<t>So many things to respond to. On the T. Dalton Bond issue...Timothy was great in both of his films. Gone was most of the cheese that accompanied the later Moore era. Not to mention that Moore was definately too old by the time of Octopussy, and A View to a Kill. Moore's standout films were probab...

Ah yes. Twighlight 2000. Never had a chance to play it. One of my friends owned the 2nd(?) edition boxed set back in the day. Intensive rules resulted in that being a wasted purchase. The idea seemed cool at least.

However, this trailer has confirmed some of my suspicions that this will be nothing but Star Sex 90210. Some of the replacement actor...

<t>Twas sad news. As far as well known 1960's drummers go, he was one of the standouts along with Jack Bruce, etc. Hope it doesn't end up being drugs like it was with John Entwistle a few years back. My father-in-law was in the same hotel when Entwistle died. Either way, dead is dead. And, being a d...

Primarily a number of "plot points" with the Savage Worlds rpg. Afterwards, we've been playing a little bit of C&C's "The Rising Knight". Those are my systems of choice as of late. I suspect I'll be playing a lot of the new jumbo Axis and Allies board game(due out Nov. 18).

Shame Chrichton came under fire before his death for taking an unpopular viewpoint with Hollywood's climatological scientists. I can't say more than that, lest I violate a rule. And, I'm not going to. I was saddened by his death.
