Re: Mr. Nimoy has passed away.
There's no doubt that Spock is in a class of his own, but the loss of De Kelley (Bones) for me was equally devastating. In addition to Spock, McCoy is that other character that beats out most of the others (from the entire Trek-verse) hands down. Those two together were really quite special. Add Kir...

Re: What are you reading?
Not sure if I have that one, Slimy. I do have some of the Bantam novels, as well as a good number of the Pocket novels into the late 80's or early 90's at least. I'm sure you have the Star Trek animated series. Always a nice way to get some extra mileage out of Trek. I highly recommend Star Trek Pha...

I hear you, Traveller. I felt like this when DeForest Kelley and James Doohan died, as well as countless others. They're celebrities, but they were such a huge part of our lives.

Re: Mr. Nimoy has passed away.
Sad news, but not totally unexpected. He was very recently hospitalized with advanced copd. Either way, I became aware of Star Trek in the 1970's. My fandom reached a feaver pitch in the 1980's. The McCoy and Spock characters were always my favorites. I was fortunate enough to have met all of the pr...

A Big Bang for GaryCon!
I haven't seen the episode, but apparently GaryCon and Gary Gygax were mentioned on the most recent episode of Big Bang Theory. Pretty cool. I thought GC would be way under their radar compared to Sandiego Comic Con and Gen Con. I guess not. Can't wait to see it. GaryCon is mentioned twice, I think.

Slimy, I see that Pocket Star Trek novel. Takes me back. I still have mine from back in the day. Many of them were pretty decent, or better. Good choice!

Re: What Board/Card Games Are You Playing?
Did I mention my most recent game? Continuing play today hopefully. Battle of the Five Armies by Ares. Yes, that BoFA. :) Pretty good so far. Same designers as Fantasy Flight Games' War of the Rings. Also a good game. Not sure what happened but in recent years, FFG lost or gave up the LOTR/Hobbit pr...

Re: Adventures!
I think some good one shots would be nice maybe two per book, but I do like the thought of plots. Most gm's don't use published material, but I do. Savage Worlds rpg's plot points (for those who are familiar) were a huge draw for me. I don't have time to come up with really great adventures, and tho...

Re: Post a picture of yourself
2010 Troll Con. Yep. Missed that one. I used to see Larry Elmore at least once a year at Dragon Con and eventually twice a year, what with GenCon. Haven't talked to him since 2009. I meant to track him down at 2013 and 14 GenCon, but didn't have time. Would have been nice to see him at a smaller eve...

Re: How long has Back to Blacktooth Ridge been in...
I've sold enough of them, Rhu. I thought it was 42 pages. haha. On an A-series note, it's my personal goal to sell (for Troll) more copies of A0: The Rising Knight than the number of Keep on the Borderlands modules sold by TSR. Unfortunately, I haven't really been keeping a tally.

Re: Help a newbie out guys... What to buy?
Definitely the Players Handbook as well as Monster and Treasure. Also consider the Castlekeeper's Guide (for the optional rules material), Monsters and Treasure of Aihrde, and Classic Monsters (if you need more monsters). Many other good products, but you don't need to overwhelm yourself at first. K...

Re: The C&C class you play the least or don't like to play
The monk is okay as a class I suppose, but it doesn't really fit with traditional fantasy for me. I do let my players choose that class, however. The knight sort of seems limited to specific campaigns. I think the rogue is okay, but a friend of mine doesn't like that their bth is only slightly above...

18.60? Not too bad considering it's bluray. For a minute, I assumed it was an out of print movie. I've seen gougers put insane price tags on items (dvd's, rpg's, etc.) merely because they're oop. I can live with the price you quoted, however.
