<t>Saw the box, board, pieces, rulebook, etc. right in front of me at GenCon. I met Larry Harris a couple of years ago, but did not have my old rulebook with me. I made sure to rectify that problem this year. He's a great guy. Axis and Allies was basically the game that kicked Risk to the curb when ...

<t>I'm pretty careful with my stuff, and mine cracked too. However, I think I accidentally stacked something on it, or it got damaged traveling to too many cons. It's not completely loose, but I put tape on some of it to play it safe. Gonna get as much use out of it as I can until it falls apart. By...

<t>How many "Broadsides" sheets are there supposed to be for Starsiege? I've got a one-sided craft sheet, a two-sided sheet with trappings cheat sheet and difficulty chart, a one-sided planet template sheet, and a character sheet. I think that may cover everything. I DID get four field manuals, the ...

<t>I remember playing Last Unicorn's Star Trek at the time, and seeing previews for the Dune RPG. Wanted it, but never got a chance to order it. A friend of mine bought it in the early 2000's. Not sure how much he gave. I'm assuming 100-300 dollar range. Not sure if he kept it or not. I've got the o...

<t>Star Trek would be gone in 2008, because Paramount and other factors caused the last two companies to lose licenses. Palladium(and I love the Rifts universe) would be much lower today. The White Wolf products would still rank high on the list. Star Wars would still fair pretty well. Shadowrun(whi...

<t>I'll have to check those out. Hate to see all of those old d20 mods go to waste, but maybe it's the best move for Goodman. 3 and 3.5 will practically vanish in the marketplace. Paizo's 3.75 Pathfinder rpg, MIGHT make it, True 20 perhaps, and of course, TLG. So, maybe 4E is the ticket for Goodman....

<t>You're right, Treebore. I should have clarified that it's probably more the case with action figures, and other parts of the pop culture collecting spectrum. As for some of the past 1E DCC's, I'm assuming those are available in pdf only these days? How many are there total. I'd probably be intere...

<t>If they're that popular why not do more? It's kind of like the action figure market, I suppose. There has to be that "elusive" item. The company doesn't make one red cent off of the Ebay sales, but I guess there's the prestige of having the 50.00 or 100.00 dollar or whatever amount "much sought a...

<t>I've seen, or heard about that happening in all sectors of life. This is not always the case, but it seems like people spend their lives trying to join motorcycle clubs, country clubs, SCA, church groups, etc., and they end up making themselves miserable enduring the "politics", rules, corny by-l...

<t>I did a little bbq'ing on Thursday. Just some cheap-ass frozen burger patties, and hotdogs. I'm not exactly Mr. Grillmeister, and we're on the 20.00 or maybe 30.00 Wal-Mart special(grill). hehe I was out there with one plate, and my spatula. Should have gotten tongs, but nope I opted to roll hot ...

<t>My 3-year old daughter and I watched Return of the Jedi again today. Stephen, I saw all of the films in the theater, and was probably 12 and a half when Jedi came out. I was 2nd in line in my little town of 17,000 people. I was at the height of my fandom during those years, but I recall not being...

<t>Have to agree about the greatness of Savage Worlds. Plus, you can't argue with the value of the current 10.00 rulebook, and all of the great plot point books they offer. As for older games, James Bond was fantastic. Only played a few of the modules, never owned, or got to play the Assault game, b...

<t>Savage Worlds? Way to go, Danger Dwarf! We use the battlemat most of the time, but try not to get too bogged down with it. It's a tactical game, but seems not be as crazy with it like 3.5 or Star Wars D20 revised. Plus,(and I've said it many times) you can't go wrong with Savage Worlds, or Castle...

<t>I playtested on Starsiege awhile back. Seems like they were going to re-work one or two things based on some feedback. Maybe something to do with how armor works. I think my friend who ran our playtest sessions actually like how it worked initially, but others may not have. I can't speak for thos...
