That sale didn't actually happen at GenCon; it was a private deal between a seller in Louisville KY and an anonymous buyer. But it was finalized around the same time as GenCon '08, so that confusion is not unexpected.

I have my usual objections:

Dying is rare. (What game? It's an interactive story. The hero of a novel can't die).

100% rules, 0% wing-it. (We don't trust DMs and players to have good judgment).

Well, all of my 'punching up' was included in the published product.

It's been so many years that I don't recall much.

I did add a bit about how the residents would react to invaders, like using oil at the front gate...
