Re: Blacky the Blackball... the Tarantino of role-playing?

Excellent post, J! The Piazza is a great forum, they sure cover all the major games and campaign worlds. Great staff and posters ~ especially Havard! I knew Blacky wrote some stuff, but didn't know he did the Codename Spandex for GH that you talked about in that other thread. Very cool. I'll have to...

Guys, sorry I won't be able to play tonight. We've got family over and we're decorating the Christmas Tree.

I hope y'all have a great game.

Re: Bat Swarm

I'm converting an old PF module for my group, and one of the encounters involve a bat swarm. I looked in M&T and Classic Monsters, and haven't seen anything comparable in C&C. Is there a C&C mechanic for handling swarming creatures that I missed? How has anyone else dealt with this? Tha...

Top Secret!

Aergraith mentioned in the other games thread that Merle released a new version.

I pulled out my old boxed set (which is in fabulous condition) for a re-read.

For those that have this game, check out Darlene's rendering of Emma Peel (page 55) ~ awesome!!!

Cool! Look forward to learning more. Aergraith, Penny and Gringnr and I have talked about this game in the past during our Sunday night sessions. I pulled out my old game tonight and forgot what great condition it is in. Love to look at the credits to read . . . most of the TSR writers, editors and ...

Re: 5th Edition

One thing i do like that 5E (well, from 3E onwards) has given full ability stats for monsters. I wish C&C did that. I don't think C&C needs the full giant skill list that 3E provided for every monster, but the P/M prime split seems a bit too simple. Otherwise, i miss having magic schools de...

I know the Gaxmoor Kick got behind schedule a bit, but the Trolls delivered a masterful project that is one of best ever coming from them. Coordinating many of the D&D industry legends to get this project done was no easy task. In the end, Ernie jr, Luke, Jim Ward and Steve's adventures, maps, a...

I used the archer class as an NPC to play-test in a couple of my games. She is a great class and I allow it in my game and/or play it if the CK would permit.

I have several HR books and I like them. I've only mined the Viking book for my Chronicles of Scandia mini campaign world that can be set in Greyhawk or Aihrde. I like the "The Crusades" book as well as "Charlemagne's Paladins" and think it would be cool/fun to create some advent...

Well, Frank did go back to DF to showcase the publishing for Empyreaj - only to be trolled by some of the same "assholes" over there. And unfortunately, the admins have continued to allow them to continue their behavior instead of cracking down on it. It's a shame. As for the other issue, ...
