<t>The Mouth of Sauron is a special example, much like the Istari. The Istari are numbered at 8 very clearly. Also, Lore magic, as described above, is noted by Tolkien scholars as being technological almost in nature and not wizardry magic in the western sense. A fantastic example of this is the exa...

<t>You are arguing with the most prominent Tolkien scholars in the world. It is VERY common knowledge that magic was VERY rare and subtle in middle earth and no matter how you wish to spin it there should NOT be a magician class or a sorceror or a wizard in middle earth. The Istari are the only such...

<t>I am not convinced he meant magician in the D&D sense of the term. Also, you might want to take up your argument with about 95% of all Tolkien scholars who state outright that having any magic wielders in a Middle Earth setting outside the Istari or high elven magic (enchantment) is completel...

<t>I'm just curious.....how in the world do you have a casting class in Middle Earth? The only magic wielders should be the istari. I am VERY interested in this! Do you have any room for an additional player? I have always wanted to play in a western setting! Also, how do I get the go for your gun rules?

<t>A guy a I know from work is a HUGE Runequest guy and I am trying to sell him on C&C. One of the selling points I told him about C&C is that you can easily translate anything 1st.-3rd. edition D&D into the game, thus making your potential library of stuff enormous. <br/> <br/> However,...

Anyone have a link or a way to convert Runequest to C&C? I'm espcially interested in a 3rd. edition Runequest conversion.

Thanks!

The way trined skills work in Saga might give us a problem though. Also, Saga edition has talents and feats. We have discussed different ways to deal with fats but never talents. Other concepts such as the damage track might be difficult to simulate in C&C as well.

The main issue I see with it is that the game is very skills heavy. And using the force is directly related to your use the force skill.
