<t>C&C's SIEGE mechanic is somewhat similar in that when a skill check situation arises you simply look at what attribute that skill in question should be tied to and apply the appropriate DC while taking into account if the attribute is a prime one or secondary one on the character.<br/> <br/> ...

<t>I am really liking the Critical Hit deck so far. It gives some really neat effects for when a player scores a critical hit and there are even rules for how a GM can use them against players (but monsters have a harder time doing so). <br/> <br/> Each card differentiates what kind of damage is in ...

I had that same stumbling block. I like how in C&C, I already know all the rules!

Me too! I cracked the book open and it was like it all made sense and I already knew how to play. It didn't seem like it took me like 20-30 mins to read through what I needed to.

Lejendary Adventure kind of loses me right at the beginning with the huge amount of defininitions it wants you to learn. Most of it is renaming concepts we are all familiar with already but trying to get us to stop thinking in the old rpg mode.

I am also considering prestige classes from the Warlords of the Accordlands setting. Any opinions on prestige classes in Castles and Crusades and any rules out there on it that anyone has made?

The descriptions mentions: "the only rules addition or change appearing in the 3rd printing are the new poison charts for the assassin."

How can I get these poison charts? This seems pretty important for an assassing character.

Very cool!

I'm an old vet for RPGs and for D&D too. I bet I myself could learn it quickly if I sit down tonight and read it. I'm getting a fantasy itching and am wanting to either start or get into a campaign.
