I thought "Pigs in Space" was the best segment of The Muppets. Loved 'em.

I didn't like much, okay nothing, that came out of 2nd Edition.

Just give her magic-user the "feat" of using a blade.

For backstory, just say as an apprentice she spent her off-hours training with a sword since her master had an old ranger that took care of the property and took a shine to the young mage.

I'm CKing Fane of the Witch King right now. It's a blast.

Very dangerous, don't use the suggested levels if you are using Castles & Crusades for this. This module is a 7-9 level module to me.
