Re: Monsters & Treasure 5th Printing on Kickstarter now!
I'm sure I was one of many, but remember posting right here that I'd love to see a combined monster tome. Bravo! I just pledged and look forward to this. Hoping for an expanded Gods & Monsters at some point, also. Yeah, when I saw the KS, I was wondering if it was the Trolls finally listening t...

Feedback time. So what did you all think of the "negotiated" victory? Did you like it? Would you have preferred the more classic fight to the death final battle? Did her desire to have her horrible scarring fixed make sense to all of you as her motivator to make peace? I did it because I ...

Re: Palladium Fantasy Setting for C&C
No, but I've looked into that and since Paladium Fantasy is D20 based, I think it would be as easy to convert to C&C as any edition of D&D is. Since I have yet to actually do any such conversions I can't say for sure. Even if it isn't just as easy, it certainly won't be much more of a job.

Knockback rules?
Knockback rules. They never made it into the book, but the author, Mike Stewart, has posted "optional rules" on the official website. I think basing it upon HP is likely the most ideal way to get those blows that send your opponent, or you, flying through multiple buildings and all the way...

The A series is a pretty good series. Would have been even better if they had completed it about 5 years ago, but at least the finale is soon to be finished. "Soon", in Troll time, means some time in the next few years. With what we have already seen, we might, maybe, possibly, be below an...

Re: Mind flayer
The OGL allows nearly any monster TSR/WOTC has ever done to be used "as is". IE copy/paste it straight from their SRD. Since the SIEGE engine is an entirely different mechanic, that obviously needs no OGL compliance. The only part of the OGL that helps is the ability to use the name of the...

Books, movies, video games, make them up, look through Gygax's book of names. Just depends on my mood at the time, really.

I haven't played any since moving to St Louis, which is ridiculous with all the gaming stores they have around here. I just need to get off my butt and go find a game. The board game bar they have down by an awesome BBQ place we love would probably be the easiest way for me to find a board game.

I can agree with that. If anyone is running C&C and is wanting something more, looking to AA for alternate or additional ideas is a great way to go. I've been doing this more for Victorious than I have C&C, mostly the powers booklet.

Ok, so what about an opposed Telepathy vs. Telepathy to find the villain(ess)? Mike the Curious That can be done. Just like the given examples, the higher level one will give the other a higher penalty. Faith is only Rank 1. So Faith can try to find her, but she will have to get lucky, or burn 3 VP...

Like I will allow anyone to try to climb a tree, or a short brick wall. Basically, anything I did when I was a kid. They just don't get to add level. When it comes to sheer walls, or the wall of a 3 story, or higher building, thats when I start saying they cannot even roll. Until the Thief climbs up...
