<t>I can't think how to formulate a concise rule. You might scan the cleric spell list in the C&C PHB and find the spell there that's most similar and judge it in relation to that. If there's no really similar effect on the C&C list, you have to use your best judgement as to how effective th...

Natural 20s.

Is there any special significance to them in the main C&C rules? Unless I missed it, they don't even automatically hit (which seems very odd to me).

Maybe you could let fighters specialize in the shield as though it were a weapon? Instead of the specialization bonuses applying to attack and damage, they could modify the shield's AC bonus and the number of attacks it can block in a round?

I'm considering historical veracity for the ninja as a counter to months and months of "Real Ultimate Power" references.

Although if you've never checked it out the RUP book is hilarious.

For a ninja, an assassin/rogue split class with the multiclassing rules of your choice seems like a solid option.

An NDA is no problem at all. I'm familiar with those due to being a playtester for Hero Games a couple years back.

How can one be granted access to the CKG forum?

I registered just for that reason and it turns out it's for specific users only.
Thanks!
