Hits vs HP

<t>I'm considering lightening my load during session prep. I want it to be even easier to prep monsters than out of the box C&C, my laziness knows no bounds.<br/> <br/> I'm considering using the HD number as the number of hits needed to kill the monster. ie 1HD monsters go down in 1 hit, 6HD mon...

<t>I respectfully disagree Fiffergrund. I see no problem with a hit that causes damage not being reflected as damage in the narrative. When I DM I try to narrate a memorable, engaging, and fun story with the players. <br/> <br/> In some situations it is great to narrate a long battle by describing a...

Game schedule

We play Wednesdays, the times are not rigidly defined. For example, last week we started play around 8:30pm (GMT-6), but this week we will likely start earlier, around 4:00pm (GMT-6). I still have to get the mass email out tonight, but that looks to be the time.

If you do decide to purchase the software, the next step is to PM me so I can get you the setting info and we can arrange a time to create a character for you by next Wednesday.

I think Orhpeus' first post in this thread from early Thursday morning was still referring to those wee morning hours as Wednesday night. The game we're talking about took place Wednesday night and looks likely to do so again next week.

I'm getting a Wednesday night game started. Have one player waiting in the wings for a companion or three. You know, so he doesn't die at the first Goblin. We're going to be using FGII to play and Skype to communicate.

FR gods are a very active part of the setting, importing them into a setting not designed with them in mind would require overhauling many things in the setting.

What could I do to make the transition easier on the fighter in the group with a 18/79 Str. It seems like in moving to a straight 18 in C&C he'll be the only one taking a power cut.

So give them the C&C sales pitch (pretty easy) and let them decide if they want to switch now or take some time to think about it?

Also I should be highlighting that it will be less math, and it will streamline our combat and role play?
