Backgrounds and Traits are almost identical to the way they appear on my website. They've been more clearly defined, expanded in scope, and streamlined in functionality, as I've used them in game and they've been adapted as a result of playtest, but yes, they look 99% the same.

This is true, but the ability to compare the straight totals of two rolls is far more intuitive and simple--and even a bit faster, as it eliminates an extra step of math.

Super powers? No; that doesn't seem very "pulp" to me. The only supernatural options for players are magic and psionics.
