<t>I think "mindless" is even a step below "animal". I don't think mindless Undead have any "instincts" except slay the living. You can teach a dog to sit, roll over fetch, track, etc. without "clerical compulsion". Maybe I treat Undead differently or the wrong way. But to me, they have no survival i...

<t>Mindless Undead? I'd say they'd go until they fall.<br/> <br/> If a Necromancer ordered a Zombie into a situation where it would be destroyed(such as entering a fiery inferno),it would still go. IMHO a Zombie doesnt think about self preservation. If Zombies spotted a potential victim on the other...

The Paladin could use a tweek.

Smite Evil is weak. Compare it to the Ranger's ability vs. Giants & Humanoids. Those foes are common in most campaigns & the abilty is always usable. Starts at level 1, not 9 too.

I gotta look for that Paladin article, I know have it.

Another DEFINITE BUY by Troll Lords added to my list.

Its C&C BASIC. Key word- BASIC. Thats why Races are "classes". It will let newbies learn the basics(that word again!!) before moving on to the hard stuff(hard covers??)

Personally, I can't wait. Sounds great.
