Re: DELUXE Savage Worlds is coming....
I've looked over the Beautiful Brains website and can't find a podcast download page. Do they have podcasts of their 'chats' for download somewhere? Or is it a listen live only situation? Do you know? thanks. Sorry, but it is a chat room only. It lasts about an hour, and they don't usually put up t...

Christina@ConCarolinas June 3-5, 2011 (Charlotte, NC)
I'll be a guest at ConCarolinas again this year. I'm not running any C&C at this con, though. I'll be running two games of Rogue Mage, however. It's a post-apocalyptic game using tweaked Mutants & Masterminds rules. It is based on the Rogue Mage novels by Faith Hunter, who will also be in at...

Good move on changing the text. Don't want to provide any fuel to possible fires. This is going out to a tough crowd, after all.

Re: We need your help and feedback for this upcoming product
This looks promising. I hope the Troll Lord considers getting involved with Hero Labs, too. I have their Pathfinder tool, and it is quite good. I intend to purchase the add-ons for Savage Worlds and Mutants & Masterminds at some point.

Re: MACE West (aka Cudgel Con) March 25-27, Hickory, NC
There's at least 4 that I know of, and there are NC Game Days that take place 3 or 4 times a year. Yet, there could be more going on near the top of the state, and I just don't know about them. These are the ones within a reasonable driving distance from my home in SC. Honestly, we have 2 guys aroun...

MACE West (aka Cudgel Con) March 25-27, Hickory, NC
This is a new convention taking place in Hickory, NC. There will be a strong presence of Savage Worlds folks there. As part of the Carolinas Crusade, I'm running C&C (in Zobeck) and Rogue Mage. This will be my second con of the year. http://www.justusproductions.com/index.php/justus/macewest/2/4...

Yep, but I heard from a friend who previously went there that the gaming wasn't worth going to. But, that was some time ago, so perhaps things have changed.

Carolina Crusades
2011 is going to be the starting year for the Carolina Crusades. I'm going to run C&C games at four Carolina conventions this year: RoundCon, CudgelCon (aka MACE West), ConCarolinas, and MACE. So, I'm calling for all you Carolinians to come out and represent! Run games, as well. But, let's get t...

Re: Opinions on Origins
Last year, there was no C&C on the schedule. I had a great time playing Savage Worlds games, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are going for C&C games--unless you can talk Omote into running some. :) Last year's Origins was good in that I got to meet Omote & Frost. :) I don't believe I ...

Re: Savage Worlds-Hellfrost
Converted adventures would be ok, but I'd REALLY REALLY like a C&C setting book for Hellfrost. I bought the Hellfrost Player's Guide and really enjoyed the setting premise, but I sold the book because my group is averse to learning new systems - we pretty much only play D&D-like systems - a...

Make sure those wastage rules make sense in C9. We had some discussion on that, and I want to make sure everything is clear there. I don't think I've actually seen the final on that chapter. I still don't have my CKG copy.Omote wrote:The chapters that need the most coverage are chapters 6-19.

Re: What Games Do You ACTUALLY Play?
So why does everyone collect games? I fell in love with the hobby when I was 12. Ever since then, I've had a strong urge to collect games. I LOVE background material and adventures the most. I'm a real sucker for those. In terms of systems, I'm not really looking for a new one, but I like to check ...

1. On Page 50, under Pulp Sorcery, it says, "The following pulp-inspired alternatives..." The whole entry seems to sort of stop short. It presents one alternative the Non-caster Scroll use table and descripters which is good, but in the last paragraph it seems like there is going to be mo...

When I found a group of gamers locally in South Carolina, they were ready to play anything. So when I said that I'd be the Castle Keeper for a game, we started playing.
