Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"

This is why Lissette (lawful good) is considered so weird in Xylh. The natives would never hurt a child. A little chaos is always welcome. A convivial event is judged by its exuberance. The more laughter and joy the better the food and company. Seriously though it is a dangerous thing to offend a li...

Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"

Before Mercutio set off for home Zumbido asked if he would like to hear a story. She once trained a bard and as a grandmother she knew a tale or two. The Chimera and the Desert Rat A Chimera was awakened by a Desert Rat running right over his face. "Insignificant vermin! How dare you show such ...

Zumbido as a witch. Does this look right to you? I rearranged her attributes, took different spells and rolled HP on Roll20. Zumbido, The Mad Witch of the Xaroco 61 years old God: The Ravenlord hired Aziz for the month (He is presumably eating her out of house and hold back in Xylh. Possibly partyin...

Re: Haunted Highlands Witch Class

If anything it would make much more sense for them to WANT to look like/be a Hag. Unless they don't want to be burnt at the steak, or dunked in the water chair the next time a group of adventurers/witch hunters pass through the area. Or, they want to actually be around people and not isolated out i...

Re: Haunted Highlands Witch Class

See, if the players want me to make it OK for Hags they play to continue leveling and gaining more spells, then I as the CK get to have my monster hags do the same. So while up front you may think I am being nice, but down the road, when I throw the Arch Mage level Witch Hag at you, you will hate m...

Re: Haunted Highlands Witch Class

Because you are a kind and generous CK. =D The chances of losing three rolls in a row isn't all that likely so it probably wouldn't be a problem ... it is the logic that is hinky. I kinda sorta think the book is suggesting the character has become a monster rather than a player character. But as a c...

Haunted Highlands Witch Class

This aspect of the Witch class makes no sense to me. The goddess for this character class revels in being hideous. But if her worshipper starts to look ugly she will stop levelling? This seems unnecessarily harsh for a character that can't wear armour. FLESH OF THE HAG ... This benefit does not come...

"Ogre", a 5th level Human Fighter, died in Tegel Manor. He left his semi-lucrative career (CHA 6) as a pole dancer only to die at the haunted mansion itself. A lich cast "Irresistable Dance" on him. Fortunately for him, a pole was nearby. :) "He died doing what he loved...&...

I write of the glory of a warrior named Zerg. Her eyes burned with a fierce green fire. The path she followed was named freedom. Her death was good. She died with her axe in her hand.

Re: Penny's Wednesday night game slot

I strongly prefer a Wednesday Aergraith game to completely avoid the problem of having to alternate games each week. Playing every two weeks really ruins the continuity for me -- especially when a holiday interferes and makes the break even longer.

Very cool. I am toying with ideas in my head. I like the idea of CG for alignment. I don't think this girl is gonna care two wits about the law. The fleshcrawler's XP does indeed seem low. But you guys may recall that I give extra XP for a good battle - particularly when the PCs roll bad and the monster rolls high, but you still defeat it ~ as in this combat. Also, roleplaying XPs are mostly given each session as well as battle roleplaying ...

So cinematic! Lovely write-up. EDIT: Amable does remember predicting that greed was certain to lead to the death of someone. Orcs prefer to live lightly. Since he likes and trusts Anele's unassuming ways he decides to ask the cleric for a boon. "Should I die I trust you to do right with my bod...
