A question about future cons

Post by brotherdew »

I have noticed that there are a couple more cons scheduled for Little Rock this year that includes gaming.

I was just wondering if TLG will be at the other cons or if anyone will be running any games.

I would like the opportunity to play again and am considering making the trip north if there will be any C&C games.

Hey brotherdew, TLG has traditionally only attended Troll Con as a local event and that it probably not going to change this year. Most other local cons would be difficult to attend with so many cons around the nation that TLG does actually try to attend (possible scheduling conflicts). Also, Troll Con is a C&C convention, and if you look at some of the other cons you will find a whole lot of 3rd and 4th ed gaming and less old school style gaming. There might be some C&C at other local cons, but I'm not sure. Check their forums, if they have them, or contact the event coordinators and see if they've had C&C games before.

Thanks,

I thought that might be the case, but thought that some of the local players might plan some games.

Steve had told me that they did a good job marketing the game outside the state, but felt they might fall a little short inside the Land of Opportunity. This might be a great opportunity for players to run a game or two and introduce this wonderful game to Arkansas gamers. I know that there are a lot of gamers who still play 2E because they feel that the game has become to rule heavy. C&C might appeal to them or 3E and 4E fans like myself who just like to sit down and play.
