I have been seeing his name EVERYWHERE today and hoped that he was doing much better now.

Looking around though I don't see anything about how he is doing. Anyone know how he is doing now? It's been a while and just hope he is ok and getting back on his feet.

I'm looking to start a monthy game of Gamma World soon and everything im looking at has his name on it!

To sum up, he is diagnosed, taking medication, and slowly getting better.

Matt Forbeck sent out a call to help Jim pay for his medical expenses on Facebook, an effort led by Tim Kask. Here's a link to the site if you want to contribute: http://bailoutthewardenfund.bbnow.org/index.php

Due to a favorable tax return, I was finally able to donate to this great cause!

It seems Jim is in better health to a degree, but has to battle with his disease every day.

Best wishes and health to Sir Jim!

I posted a quick note on DF. I am sorry I heard about this only recently. I'll be praying for better health for Jim - and for a resolution of the finances.

I asked Tim Kask about Jim last Saturday and he said that Jim is doing better.

A quick bump to this thread and to this link for those who may have missed this topic and chance to help Jim with his major medical expenses.

Also, just a quick message for any of you that don't know Jim.

He's a great guy and very approachable to discuss gaming or pretty much any subject. He is happy to sign stuff and of course runs games at various CONs including one at TrollCON 2 years ago.

Most know that he was a major contributor to the original game and recently has written a lot of new and excellent material for TLG.

He also helped and moved the Crusader Magazine forward and we can only hope that he may return to contribute and/or produce more product for C&C.

OK, nuff said and thanks for reading.

:)
