I snagged a near mint copy of that from the Kenzer booth at Gary Con a few years ago. I'm hoping it'll be worth something some day.

I suppose it depends on the definition of "worth." I paid $90 for my copy. Down from $150.

I have heard it selling for more.

But that's just a price tag. Value can come in many other forms. For one, I am glad to have bought it -- helps complete a collection. And, I plan on enjoying the module once I get to play it. That "worth" may be immeasurable.

I just finished reading, "Empire of Imagination". I think the author did a good job telling the story of Gary Gygax. It tells a different side of him than I thought.

While I give a lot of credit to Gary, the last chapter becomes repetitive. I thought the points made about Gary's contributions were made, re-made, re-re-made. It could have been the sinus infection as well at that point.

Classified, a retro-clone of Victory Games' James Bond 007. Been wanting to run the original game, and this will give me something to flip through at the table. As I mentioned in another thread, it's also got updated weapon and equipment stats.

I've been reading The Lost Mine of Phandelver since I'll be running it in May for my buddies when we do a long weekend trip to the mountains. I'm planning on following that up with Storm King's Thunder when we go on our summer vacation trip at the end of June.

Re-reading A6, A7 and A8!!

Brilliant stuff. Davis writes great modules.

And Steve is a master at modules.

These guys got it and the "A" series is a masterpiece.

They get together for A10!

I've already posted about the Aufstrag Dungeons (A14 - A17) ~ some of the best dungeon delving adventures that I've ever read!

Can't wait for the final adventures.

:)

Again, something my wife bought for me: Tunnels and Trolls 1st edition reprint (from 2013).

Always wanted to see what T&T was like back in the early days. Now I get to.

Reading into the Umbrage Saga boxed set a bit, also re-reading Greyhawk materials that I haven't seen in years, currently Greyhawk: The Adventure Begins.

Waiting on my copy of Codex of Aihrde and the Players Guide to Aihrde to arrive in the mail :)

I've been reading Kent David Kelly's Hawk & Moor (the unofficial history of D&D). A lot of the material is hearsay from internet forums and subject to revision, but it's an engaging read and I find the early days fascinating - basically creating a hobby (and industry) from scratch.

On volume III, reached the part where D&D is starting to take off and Don Kaye's tragic, early passing (with major future consequences for TSR, etc.)

Have you read Playing At the World? I'm curious how the two accounts compare.

I have a copy, but honestly found it to be a hard slog that I couldn't get through, as it dives deep into the history of kriegspiel and bizarre 19th century chess variants that eventually led to modern wargames (and thus rpgs).

Hawk & Moor is kind of an antidote, focusing on the personalities and accounts of actual table play in the hobby's formative years. In fact, Mr. Kelly alludes to the fact that he also found Playing At The World a difficult read!

Legacy of Raistlin, for the DragonLance SAGA rules during the Age of Mortals time period. There's a lot of interesting details of the DragonLance setting during that specific sliver of time in the setting, but what is even better are the details of the Tower of Wayreth.

Currently creating my own game. Many of the game logic elements require a lot of problem solving and math to produce, so I started reading/watching Relevant Online Course a lot recently

The Great Rift boxed set by Mongoose. So very many years of gaming can be done based on the material in this boxed set. Well worth buying.

My wife backed the Mutant Crawl Classics KS and didn't tell me until it arrived. I wasn't supposed to get them yet, either, but she decided I'd earned a reward so I have the rule book, 8 modules, and some other sundry things that came along.
