CKG PDF now on sale?

Caught a 'tweet' from TLG about the GM's Day Sale over at Drivethru / RPGNow. I am surprised to hear the CKG (a new release) is also getting a nice discount on the price which caused a bit of a stir when it came out. I admit that I feel a bit disappointed to see it discounted so soon after the initial PDF release.

For those of you that want an electronic version but balked at the price tag, this current sale may be a bit easier to justify getting it.

Me too. But in order to participate we have to include the entire line. I only found out about this on Sunday night while Tim and I were going over the GM's Sale (TLG has never particiapated in this sale before).

I'm just back in the office so I'll double check with Tim.

But this is one reason I do not like to participate in group activities; it lessons my control and allows things like this to happen.

Ditto on what Steve said. Unfortunately, the sale at RPGNow is out of our control. We wanted to participate because we like to support them, but the timing and how it is run is sadly something that is out of our hands. Having said that, you are right Moriarty777, it is a good time for people to pick up any of our items there for 25% off.

Is there a way to have the PDF store issue a coupon to those who previously purchased items (say in the last week - 10 days) for the difference in the amount paid then and the sale offer now? Might make some feel better about having paid full price...

So we are all on the same sheet of music, that 20% offered to pre-orders will become the standard discount for anyone who buys a print copy (we haven't set up the coupon system yet), we just wanted to make certain that it applied to those who had already pre-ordered the CKG.

As a thank you, ANYONE who pre-ordered the CKG is receiving an email when their order ships, informing them that they have a 25% discount on their next PRINT purchase. This is in the way of a thank you very much! Coupons to be issued after the last CKG ships, hopefully this week.

Still waiting for the HB CKG, but based on this thread I decided to go ahead and buy the PDF CKG.

I'm only part way through it, but I must say that I'm impressed. Very cool so far!
