Just cannot believe a so peaceful place like that has been so horribly mauled.

Don't know exactly what you are trying to say, but when I went to Helsinki I was appalled by how they put so much crap on these beautiful buildings then when I went to Copenhagen I thought, this is what Helsinki could be.

Ah... I really don't watch news so it left me guessing.
