Goodman Games DCC's: Who's using with CnC?

Post by bighara »

I own several of these in PDF and 1-2 in hard copy. While I -as a rule- rarely run anything straight from the book/module, I do think these have a lot of good stuff for C&C-style play.

Currently, I'm working to finish a submission that's going into an upcoming DCC compilation and I was wondering whether including C&C stat/conversion info would be useful for folks (assuming there's room). If nothing else, I can probably post my C&C notes on these (and/or Goodman's boards) but I've occasionally lobbied on the GG boards for dual-statted modules (3.5 + CnC) in upcoming DCC releases.

What do folks think? Is there much interest for this?

Dungeon Crawl Classics. It's Goodman Games' line of Old-School style adventure modules

Sounds like a plan to me. Although Joe has mentioned several times that he's looking at dual statting future releases of DCC and other products for C&C

I'll be happy if Joe dual stats all future releases and re-releases all current products as C*C conversions (like Mysterious Tower).

That being said, I have gotten, I don't know how to say it, used to? Good at? Converting 3E stuff on the fly I don't "need" such things done for me.

Now with that also being siad, I'll support and buy any product that has C&C compatible stats in it.

So for all intents and purposes I would support your endeavor bighara.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

That would most definitely be cool, and useful.

While I don't have a big problem converting most DCCs on the fly, it would be nice to have the conversions alread done.

I don't use them, but the only one I have is the one already done.
