Happy 2012

Well all, the old is out and the new is in. I just finished a big bowl of my mom’s black eyed peas, a big helping of my spinach (with home grown peppers –the only thing in my garden to live through the heat of last summer& cider vinegar). Other than that, no big partying at my place last night, I simply watched a movie with my little ones, watched another with my wife after they went to sleep, and had a few good Sam Adam’s Fizzywig special beers.
Honestly, it was a fairly rough year last year, with tons of changes, so I hope this one is easier. However, at least this year, I’m not ringing in the New Year by watching rockets come into the base & I never have to worry about that again.
