So I bought the pdf, but could not find anywhere to buy the actual book. Am I over looking something? Is it out of print?

Great book! The bestiary alone is worth it. Same goes for the Savage Worlds version.

Reading on the first page, I see I'm allowed to print it out. I just might do that. It's a niffty book esp with the Noble Class.

I don't think I have this. Is it on DriveThruRPG or RPGNow or both?

What is the partnership between RPGNow and DriveThruRPG? And the various versions of each from around the world that look just like either RPGN or DTR, but with minor name and URL differences?

RPGNow and DrivethruRPG are the same company. There is really no difference.

Yeah, I never understood why there are two websites for DriveThru and RPGNow... they even look alike with different skins, basically.

They were two different companies at one time and then merged. I figure it was just easier to keep them separate than trying to combine all the accounts. Plus they get to double-up with profits if your company uses both sites to put up your pdfs.
Pure speculation on my part.
(Mongoose and Cubical 7 share the same office, but are different companies. I think they share resources. Nothing to do with the question, I just thought it was interesting.)

I've always been interested in this setting; Wulgarn CKed a campaign for me one time and it blew my mind.

One in the same. In fact, if you put an item in your cart on one site, you'll see it in your cart on the other (and vice versa). Same with order history.

I think they might have been different companies in the past, but both had pretty strong brand loyalty, so the different names were kept. Yes, I agree it's a bit silly, but I remember there being enough of a hue and cry that when they tried to brand the weekly newsletter just with DriveThru, that the owners felt it worth reverting back to using both names. So this one may boil down to the foolishness of customers...

I knew they were the same cimpany, but not that they tracked the cart & history of each other, cool to know ...

And yet I had different items in my RPGNow cart than in my DriveThruRPG cart today - and the same anomaly in my Wish Lists.

Tried that. Cleared them out. Then ate them.

It's a nifty little resource though not quite perfect. A careful examination of the book will reveal some hold-overs from the d20 (3.x) version but nothing which proves to be a deal breaker.
