In-Character Adventurers Society letters exchange!

This opening post will explain what this thread is about. I'll politely ask everyone who replies to read the guidelines first. Or else I'll stomp my foot on the floor and be cross!
Reading the 'Wanderer's Guild' books recently made me wish their in-character forums, which I didn't know about while they existed, were still around! Basically the idea was that you could exchange adventuring tips and information In-Character. I'd like to try that here. (Basically I'm clarifying that this isn't an original idea of mine!)
Guidelines
- Following this opening post, everything OOC (out of character) should be clearly indicated.
- Please use a character of your own creation, don't write as an established canon character. Preferably a character you're playing or have played!
- Don't snob any editions, variants or versions of the game. Characters from all types of D&D are welcome here. A C&C character can exchange letters with a character from OSRIC, or Pathfinder, or True 20, or Lamentations of the Flame Princess, etc. Also, no hidden/implied jabs at someone's favored version of the game via in-character comments! See what the Dungeon Bast*rd has to say about edition wars: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRZ1CYYIsCg
- Let's not overthink how this would all make sense. Let's just assume a magical system of letters that can get across the multiverse to reach many different members of this society. It's all very 'meta' and it doesn't have to be exactly in the continuity of your character's actual story/game.
- Always sign any IC (in-character) letter with your character's name at the end of the post. Yes you can have more than one character. Again, preferably one you've played or are playing. I think this'll be much better if we share our characters' ACTUAL experiences instead of flipping through a monster book to check out what a know-it-all character that was just made up would know about them. UNLESS you've been playing long enough so that he/she WOULD know about them! In which case that knowledge is earned, not cheaply chosen. If you do create a character for this thread, use common sense and fair play.
- Posts/letters can be as short or long as you want!
That's all! Have fun!
