D&D Documentary Kickstarter needs our help!

Post by dachda »

Just got an email from Paizo (probably a bunch of you did as well) asking support on kickstarter for a documentary about the history of dungeons & dragons. Iconoscope Films/Westpaw Films is working on the project and the two guys leading the project are D&Ders. They need more cash!!

Check it out at: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/and ... ocumentary

Only $15 will get you a HD download of the documentary and $40 pledge gets you a DVD or Blu-Ray copy.

Looks like a worthy project.

Wonder if this will just be two guys reading aloud from Jon Peterson's PLAYING AT THE WORLD book. Seems like he's done all of the leg-work on this project. :D

don't know 'bout that finarvyn. But they did get interviews with Gail Gygax, Frank Mentzer and other old timers. Check the 5th clip down, of the material they've already been able to shoot. I think this could be pretty interesting film, if they can raise the money to fiish.

It has been successfully funded as of today. I gave 'em some money, it's so worth it. A doc on Gary and all the old TSR stuff is going to be great, and extremely overdue.
