Well, I did mention it to Steve and he said the issue is that the 12 pg rules from their pre-D20 modules (what I scanned) was only about 1/2 the "real" rules and that Davis had written up about another 10-12 pages to "complete" the rules. So, the scan is with mac and they're looking for Davis's extra pages and once they hear back from Mac and get those pgs in then its a done deal.
Mentioning Troll Time, the 8 am Winterdark Con...Steve made it there Sat. at 10 am. His 1 pm game started at 3:30.
...of course, I forgot my !@#$ laptop in TX and so couldn't run Bergaine after all so I guess I'm not one to critique.
Oh, and Brian turned me into a Troll Lord. Not the co. member, but the monster. He'll explain I'm sure.

Mike

PS: Andrea must never have "Eyes of Doom" or a "mace of Blood". Ever. Again. Really.

Ah yes, the troll lord incident...Gotta watch out for those magic arches in Arcane Tether. Hey, could've been worse...at least I didn't turn you to stone a second time. Wish we had time to finish.

The convention was a blast and the company was absolutely great. It was an honor to both play with and GM for Seig and Indigo Rose and Ben from Serl's group, and some other wonderful gamers. I'd go it again whenever I get the chance!
I'll add more about our game sessions later. Wanna give Steve first crack at it.

Sieg, thanks for the info. Hopefully the Trolls can find this stuff quickly, otherwise, we'll never see it.

Just got a copy of the rules in an older Mortality of Green. The rules are so simple and so COOL! I certainly hope the Trolls offer these elegant rules. I could easily envison games using these rules much like the Morrigan Press Omni system. Rule books would be a few short pages of mechanics and the rest campaigny goodness!

Can you give some examples of how the rules work? Does it use the SEIGE engine?

S&S was well before the Seige engine was developed.

It's like a very simple version of a well-admired old school fantasy game. I don't think it's so much a system as it is a vehicle for publishing modules compatible with the aforementioned old school fantasy game.

Yep, the SEIGE Engine developed during development. Strange, that. The S&S rules are more like something... ummm, like the old Judges' Guild "universal system."

And I think we're all glad that SIEGE came along. Well, at least I know I am.
