Have a ton of fresh bacon in the store and I have chickens as well. Sadly, my goats aren't milking well this year but this may be from not having the time to care for them like I should have. So, I just plan for next year.

Also, I will see your duck eggs and raise you turkey eggs.

I found another advantage of the situation last night; Since I no longer have to shave my goatee I can go back to growing it out long enough to braid it.

All the better for getting along with the goats.

We only use our Duck eggs for making breads and the like. As for Turkeys, we don't have enough of them yet to start eating their eggs. The Geese eggs we also use only for baking, and some of them my wife and daughter use for making "Faberge Egg" like art.

They are larger and have a thicker shell than most eggs, they also tend to have a double yolk. The flavor is much more rich than a chicken egg and they are very filling.

 One of my favorite gif's ever.

Glad to see Julian has not only a plan, but the ability to make it happen and make him happy.

Ewe'll figure it out, test your oats, chew the fat, and milk it for all the pasture is worth. Cheesy, of course, butt horns work one way -- right.

My full plan is to go back to some things I had to put on the back burner due to the hours of the job. Which means that several farming/homesteading projects are coming back. As well this gives me time to work on some writing projects I want to.

Over time I have learned that it is what you do with a situation that counts.

Agreed. This is wisdom that only experience of trying out other ways (usually vexing and bemoaning my situation, in my case) can bring.

When it comes to this my only goal is to be outstanding in my field.
