Alright, I go to college at Southern Illinois Univeristy, home of Egyptian Con, a decent size gamining convention, where I playtested C&C a few years back. Anyway, in the fall I filled out a judges pack application to run 3 sessions of C&C. I got both a confirmation email and a judges packet in the good ol snail mail. I thought I was set. But to my suprise, when the pre-regisration packets came out last week, my name and games were missing! The response from Con "Organizers" we lost your application. The application was the one I sent in 3 WEEKS before the deadline. Now I am trying to find out if I can still run games, but sadly even if I can, few people will sign up because I am not on the pre-reg. AAAGH! Sorry folks just venting. But it looks like the Trolls will be there, so at least some things are good.

Eek, that rough. I know what you mean though as the same situation has happened to me before as well. You should still try to run your games. As the gaming organizers to put a flyer or poster up that has changes to the schedule.

True, true. Unfourtunately that is the sort fo thing I wanted to avoid. I've run games at this Con before, with the flyers as mentioned. However you never seem to get as many players as you would have if your game was in the Pre-Reg. Anyway, if anyone from the boards here goes to ECon I will be running C&C games, and I scheduled them not to interfere with the games the Troll Lords are playing. All told there should be 5-6 seesion of C&C played at the Con.

That is impressive. I wish that the CONS that I frequent would have C&C games other then the ones that I run... Unfortuantly I won;t be able to make it to ECon. Damn.

Rhuv the Con is in Carbondale, about a 4 1/2 hour drive from Frankfort. If you wanted to go I can offer my couch if you wanted to avoid a hotel. Its a good Con, don't let my venting deter you, about 300 gamers show up over 3 days. Along with the Trolls a group of guys from St, Louis bring their game called FAST which is a very simple and streamlined generic RPG. The always run great games, plus you can catch plenty of CCGs, miniture gaming and the Nodwick artist always shows up. I provided the link below, suprise it isnt updated, but it does provide dates. Last year it cost $25 for a weekend pass, so a good deal all around.
