I don't really understand why anyone is backing this, but then, I don't go to restaurants that advertise "lousy service".

Kickstarter (and other like services) has created a mini Dot comm boom of ventures that aren't worthy of the electrons they waste in announcing their existence. Just as clueless Venture capital managers did in the 90's.
