Doing another C&C demo this Friday

Post by Inkpot »

I've been asked by Dragonrail to do another C&C demo this Friday. Should be pretty fun. Going to do "Beacon" again, as that mini-adventure is perfectly suited to a demo. The last demo I did, we ran out of time before completing the adventure, but everyone had a good time, nevertheless. I think this time around, I'm going to write a small blurb about personalities for each pre-generated character. That should help with those new to roleplaying.

At any rate, wish me luck!

Good luck. I hope to do a demo myself in about two weeks.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

*grins* Thanks, everyone. So far, my C&C demos have done very well. People really seem to like the fast combat, simple attribute checks, and uncluttered character sheets. The only real negative comment I've received is that some felt that the game is bit too generic as is. So, I tell them that the forthcoming CKG and Aihrde campaign setting will satisfy their hunger.

I've been thinking about running a demo for my gaming group. What is this "Beacon" adventure you speak of?
