Nice, Rigon. I want the BoF, but I don't want it in digital. But I guess at these prices, it's hard to pass up.

Yeah, I was around $15 for the both of them. I have the M&ToA in softback, but wanted it in digital, but not for the priceit normally was, and I've been on the fence with the BoF, but for that price, a digital copy will do me just fine.

I may also be picking up the HH PHB & CKG. This is a great sale.

You guys need to come to Gary Con. I got my hard copy BoF for free last year as a prize in the Castles & Crusades Society C&C tournament. Now that's the way to expand your library! Sadly, no C&CS tournament this year.

Yeah, I just looked. The BoF for ~$8 is nice. One of the few books I haven't picked up for the line (the only other stuff I'm missing is the early printings of the PHB and a flip-book or two). Like you, I was on the fence about it. I'll probably still pick up a hardcopy when I see the Trolls at Gen Con, but I having one now for that price is worth it.

I'd like to make it back out there, but it's looking like I'm not gonna make it this year. But who knows? I actually have the time to come this year, just not sure about the means.

One Hell of a sale the boys are running. Stephen's been mixing something else with the Dr. Pepper if he's offering crazy deals like this. As for Gary Con, getting one step closer. Just a couple of details...

I'm working on it. I might have to next year. I want to do the 50th anniversary of Gen Con (2017, if my calculations are correct) but I might stick to small stuff after that. But if I can start budgeting those before then, all the better! :)

Isn't it nice that Trolls can't do Math? For example, 60% off of $6.99 would be $2.80, but we can get it for an even $2.00.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

They must have that "new" math down there in Arkansas.

Thanks for the tip, Rigon.

I bought 50 items  (mostly a full run of crusader)

Now I just hope that Steve and Davis don't spend the proceeds on Dr Pepper, black tar heroin, and My Little Pony memorabilia like they did last time ;)

I have a tablet that reads pdfs but it is a little bulky for travel and sometimes, like when I am embedded in a jungle with nothing but fatigues, my M-16, and my kindle, I still want to get a little C&C fix. Is that so wrong?

My understading is some table heavy things don't work so well in kindle anyway, but for flavour things like modules and setting books it is a nice portable option. I have a work around to kindle-ize pdfs but I can't figure out how to make them size-adjustable, like normal kindle books

They offer the PHB, M&T, and Classic Monsters for Kindle. i have all of those, but since my Kindle is really old and I have an ipad from school, I just get pdfs now. If you email a pdf to Amazon, they will convert it to a mobi file for free and email it back to you. Not sure how long that takes or anything, but you could give it a go if you have the pdfs.

I agree with you, Aramis. I recently bought the Designers & Dragons books (from the Bundle of Holding deal) and was delighted to see they came four formats (I think), including a kindle version (the only one I've DL'd so far). PDFs work "okay" on a Kindle, usually (and in my experience), but I much prefer the books that are formatted for the device.

Some of the A series modules are also in available in Kindle format. I think.

Picked up Book of Familiars, as previously hinted at. The monster/animal stats alone are worth it, in my opinion.

They tend to only put up links ot the newest printings. Contact Tim Burns and he can likely hook you up. He did it for me on the 4th printing not too long ago.
