I have to give a shout out to the Red Sonja novels. They were incredible reads, and easily bested all of the non-Howard Conan stuff for me.

Too many to mention, but I just finished Three Parts Dead, by Max Gladstone. Inventive and imaginative, it’s a great urban fantasy novel (in the sense that it’s a fantasy setting that's evolved technologically, rather than a wizard stuck into modern day Chicago). Can’t wait to read the rest in the series.

Next I think I’m going to take the plunge and finally read the last in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series.

Sonja was my barbarian char in Nate's game for a bit.

Liked the movie, haven't read anything in print.

Lots of great Sonja artwork across the "internets" (in a George dubuya Bush voice).
