Bring back the old school love ... Deck of Many Things

Bought it so fast you'd think the package had racing stripes.

Can't wait to spring this in a game. Even comes with a couple of extra cards that provide the DMG description so you don't have to look it up.

Hey, let us know if the cards are of quality. Are they simple card-stock or are they of playing card caliber.

Thanks.

They playing card caliber (laminated and all) or close. They could be thicker since they are tarot card size, but they are not cheap card stock.

I feel your pain. I got a cool game, Tile Chess, that disappointed me because the "tile" pieces were card stock.

For $10, it's a good deal. Even the box seems sturdy. If I've got one pet peeve with card decks, it's a weak box.

Yeah, thanks for the "Heads Up" on this. Gotta email my FLGS and put in a order!

COOL!

I had so much fun when Dragon Magazine put out a Deck of Many Things that you could cut out and use. It actually enticed the players to pull more often from the deck!

I still have it too... but this is a definite upgrade!

Thats pretty darn cool!
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Yes! I had those babies. Very cool. Although these new ones have a totally different art style. Now where in the hell did I put those old ones?

I'm sure that even if I could find my old Dragon Deck of Many Things, it'd be sure to be missing cards.

I special ordered the Green Ronin deck at the FLGS last week. Should be in soon. I can't wait to see them in action.

That's pretty nifty, I might have to pick one of these up.

Ditto, I had the one from Dragon, and had a lot of good times with the Deck.
