Role Playing Cats

Post by Penny-Whistle »

When she isn't plotting global domination or re-figuring computers Pyewackett enjoys a good role playing game ....

Any other RPCs (role playing cats) out there?

In the old days, one of the Judges Guild magazines had an article about wargame reviews. They had several categories, such as maybe component quality and complexity. The one that I remember the most is what they called the "cat attack factor," which is basically a measure of if the cat jumps on the board and scatters the pieces how much you would bother to set the board up again.

Doesn't apply as much to RPGs unless you use minis, but fun anyway.

That is excellent!

Back when we gamed with my daughter and nephews, our cat never jumped on the table.

But years later, she does it a lot and I can see where she might be all over the place if we were to game now.

Our first cat used to bat around large water beetles that were upside down and would slide great distances due to their hard shells.

Yes, it was frightening and horrifying the first time we awoke to witness the crazy action in the kitchen at 3 AM!

Are role playing dogs allowed in this thread?

If so,

Madison is magnificent. A real beauty. And Rocky! Are you sure he isn't part cat / part fox? His happy energy is all dog though. What a cutie.

Thanks you.

Madison told me to tell you that your cat is divine and lovely and that her name is fantabulous.

And yes, Rocky is a foxty lady boy . . cue Jimi, "here he comes, he's coming to get you!"
