Darkwood Manor, Westerville, OH, announces new gaming club

Post by barna10 »

We will be holding our first ever gaming club meeting March 13 at 7:00pm.

Darkwood Manor

13 1/2 East College Avenue

Westerville, OH 43081

(614) 543-8406

The gaming club will be for anyone interested in any type of game. Discussion is open to anything game related. People looking for games, groups looking for players, card players looking for opponents, anyone needing to toss some ideas out for feedback, or anything else gaming related.

We have refreshments available and we're above a pizza shop.

Hope to see you there!!

If I still lived in Ohio you would definitely see me there, despite the fact that I would likely live around Norwalk/Sandusky. (where the Speedway and Cedar Point are at)

Good luck with the club.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

I live in Ohio, but three hours away near Youngstown. My travels, however, have lead me to Westerville before. If memory serves, there used to be a bookstore that carried a lot of gaming stuff then went out of business about oh, ten years ago? I can't remember the name of the place, but it had a lot of character and really cool stuff. I remember finding some of McKiernan's books (who used to live in Westerville, BTW), in hardcover for the first time. I also think I bought some dice there.

Anyway, are you anywhere near that old shop?

I have no Idea! I've only been in Westerville for 3 years, and Columbus only since 2001.

Where near Youngstown are you? I grew up in Ravenna, Portage County and alot of my family lives in Warren.

Best thing is that there seem to be a good deal of ohio C&Cers who float around these boards from time-to-time. Best luck on the club and the game store, man!!!

I'm in Sidney, about 45 min. north of Dayton. I think I'm pretty close to Westerville. Maybe I'll stop by...
