Forums problem with Firefox Browser

Post by erc1971 »

Like all good computer geeks, I recently made Firefox my web browser of choice.

It works perfectly, every website works...except 1.

When I try to log into the Troll Lord forums while using Firefox, the page just reloads, without signing me in. If you guys know what is causing the issue, and are able to fix it, that would be awesome - it would save me from the pain that is Internet Explorer.

The only thing that springs to mind is that you're blocking this site's cookies for some reason.

Are you using the NOSCRIPT plugin? If so, you must allow scripts on TLGs forum sitey. If not, then make sure to set all the options to DEFAULT levels and try again.

Dont forget that a firewall such as zonealarm can be misconfigured to block this kind of content as well.

Hopefully you can get this workin' and then you'll be in for a nice ride. Popup and adblocking under FF are fantastic.

I've never had any Firefox problems with the forums. With my Opera browser, however, I never seemed to get it to work well with the forums.

Well for me it all looks good, I have been using FF and lots of extensions for quite sometime too (including noscript). Care to start it in secure mode (if youi use any extension at all) and see if it works with the site?
