Order made. And I had fun talking to Steve which is why I always like phoning my order in.

Put Paypal payment in your subject line. Money is a good lure for the attention of the Trolls.

Plus they seem to have a hard time telling SPAM from legitimate inquiries and communications.

Als add the words 'Free Beer and Strippers' that also gets their attention.

I ordered the 2nd print PH and the four books I need to finish my d20 Erde run as well as getting a Keeper Subscription. Again I backed off the Boxed Set. I dunno why I keep doing that but I think it has something to do with getting something I'll use vs. a collectable.

Got my big box of goodies today in the mail, and now I have so much "new-to-me" gaming material, I don;t know what to do with myself *shakes fist at TLG* Damn you for having these sales..., well not really. Great sale.

I never got the Book of Familiars before, and while I only glanced at it for the past 15 minutes or so, this seems to stand out as a very well designed, and cool concept for a book. Nice.

The other item of interest in the NEW leatherette version of the Personalized PHB (not part of the $10.00 sale mind you). Very cool item, and I love it's ultra-slimness. The book feels good in the hands with a nice texture to the covers. I dont know if the interior paper lends itself to vigorous at-the-table use, but it is super high quality none-the-less.

Well, to be honest I placed my order the very next morning at like 9:30am CST, a few hours after the sale page went up.

And frankly, I don't have all of the TLG stuff at all. I'm still missing lots of Erde stuff, and even some d20 goodies. The $10.00 sale makes it possible for me to pick up these items, and I didn't want certain items to sell out. As for being a #1 customer, I'm sure I'm far from it.

And nope, I don't have the chainmail dice bag.

My stuff just arrived. Excellent stuff as well. I'm finished with my d20 erde stuff and can now start on the C&C Airdhe. Players Handbook second print is awesome as is the Crusader. I wish I had gotten my subscription earlier.

My weekend will be reading this stuff and enjoying every minute.

(In my best Comic Book Guy voice): Ooh! Ooh!

I hope mine comes in time for the weekend, too. If it doesn't, no big deal, but we're supposed to have some Easter snow tonight and tomorrow -- after being almost 80 on Tuesday. Stupid Delaware Valley weather.

Anyway, it is heartening to hear that so many are getting their orders so quickly. I ordered late (Wednesday), so I assume I shall be like the Apostle Paul, receiving my ministerial supplies last. (How's that for an Easter stretch?)

Happy Easter and Happy Gaming,

Zudrak

Just to add to the hype...

I hope my latest mail (which I just re-sent) gets answered so I can finally order something!

Really, is this normal or are my mails being blocked by antispam?

It happens from time to time. Steve's email has a problem with aol addresses at times. Sometimes other services. It depends. ^_^

It's the same here. Many of us are deciding against the traditional sunrise service and going for later morning when it's a bit warmer. My poor grill and bocce balls are dying to be messed with but I'm not going out in this winter rehash.

I'm pretty convinced that my packages from the Trolls and eBay sit in my mail lady's truck, When it's cold, she doesn't want to stop and get out and walk it up to my door.

Heh, I understand. Old, fat and lazy and now it's cold out. LOL.

But eventually the damn truck (mini truck that is) gets overfilled and the fat ole biotch has to get out and FRIGGIN deliver!!!
Well, anywho, the point is . . . I always get my stuff, even if it's a week after y'all!

If anyone wants a copy of The Canting Crew, I can have it arranged... but I cannot part with such things for $10. It is possible I can get up to 5 of these, so... let me know.

I'm interested if your talking the new Canting Crew. If your talking the old version I will wait for the new one.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hmmm. I didn't catch anything saying the new CC was tailored to C&C. If so that book just got a lot more interesting for me. I hope your right about that.

Even if its just a rewriting and reformatting with a new cover I'll still be happy.

Steve has said the new Canting Crew will be C&C-ized. New cover, too. I wish I could offer it, but I cannot, since it doesn't exist... yet. My offer is for those people who want the original version, as its not in print, and out of stock by TLG. Alas, because I must purchase these, I cannot offer them at the reduced price like TLG can, since it costs me more to get them than $10. :) I don't expect a huge number of people to want one... and since there are only maybe 5, I think that's good.

The old Canting crew is sweet. The book is has a very unique layout to it, which makes it interesting. However, regardless of which version of the book both are immensely useful to any FRPGer. It's cool that the new one will be C&Cized, but really the "mechanic material" is of the least value IMO. It's the uber-deep look at rogues, thieves, the underground, words, phrases, and the shear amount of information contained within that has no specific game use.

Canting Crew is the goods.

I tried to PM you to order one, but have had computer problems so I'm not sure if it made it to you.

I'd like one if the offer is still open.

e-mail me at rouelllr@hotmail.com
