THE KEEPER: Distribution problems

Post by Julian Grimm »

For those that have been keeping up the first issue of The Keeper is finished. I had thought it would be up at DF by now but not yet. So here is what I know:

I thought I sent the file to Sieg but forgot to attach it in the original e-mail. He responded and I sent a reply with it attached. I haven't heard from him yet. In the mean time I PMed Peelseel2 for a possible page on CNCplayer to distribute from. No reponse yet.

So, for those who want a copy shoot me an E-mail at julian_grimm(at)yahoo(dot)com and I will hook you up until I can get a place to host it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the information presented, but I'll wait for official publication. I kinda like the idea of seeing it presented on DF, with proper presentation. Call me craz...

Hey Julian,

I read it over and sent it to Steve Yates (DF Admin) on Sunday afternoon saying it passed my perusal. Haven't heard back...but Steve Y. was moving and said his internet would be spotty for a bit.

I'll contact solo and see if he has any suggestions.

So far over 1/2 of the critters have pics....and we've got Turinal volunteering to do up the last of the layout. More delay because we've got a couple of new people doing up art for the remaining critters. I figured it was better to wait a bit longer and have as many pics for the critters as possible than to go out with only 50% art done.
Unfortunately, Turinal is in France and our attempts at FTP-ing have failed so I've had to mail him the files on a CD; which should be there in another week.
But it will happen!

Very cool. I hope Steve gets the Keeper up soon then and the creature feature sounds worth waiting for!
