Grid is grid, I can put any kind of grid on a map.

My own horror story is that even though I've played Battletech, the guy I played with had a giant basement diorama with hex painted onto it. Never used a BT map - ever!

So I just did a 36 x 72 b/w blank BT hex map with 1 inch hex - I thought no problem. Then he said, "of course the top left hex needs at 0101 and so on..."

I had no idea what he was talking about, couldn't find an existing BT blank HEX map already numbered in digital format, so I hand typed of 4300 hexes with their appropriate numbers - aaaah! (but I got through it!)

Yes, I do Hex.
This might be of use to you then. Personally I thoroughly dislike hex maps. Though I know others have a thing for hex grids and I always try and be helpful. I found the preceding over at dragonsfoot.

So, Michael, can you make 36" x 48" hex paper? Black hex grids on white paper?

If so, I've got some more projects for you!
