We'll hold down the fort. Let me know if there is any C&CS work I can do in your absence.

Sieg should, hopefully, be posting the Society Bylaws, in draft form, and I hope it generates some discussion while I'm away. Otherwise, Steve told me he'd make an announcement soon about something involving the Society (its good news...) so I hope that happens while I'm away. But, other than those two things which are outside my realm of control, it would be nice to know if Brian has made any headway on what he was doing with the Roster. He hasn't been online that I know of for a bit, so I haven't talked to him about its progress. We still need to know when, and how, the Officers can communicate efficiently, so if you could figure that out... means, and a schedule, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I'll start a discussion on that and I will message Brian to see what's going on with the roster and if he needs help.

Not to butt in or anything, but Skype might be a good way to talk to each other. Treebore, Rhu, me, and some others are using for an online game and it works great for conference calls.

Yep, SKYPE is cool. Today I tried to hook up my webcam to my w2k machine and no go. Turns out Kensington didn't want to created drivers for newer OSs. Back to the win98 machine for the old webcam (actually was my first digital camera).

Anywho, I want to hook up and webcam to use with SKYPE. I hated winblows netmeeting, and would like to see how another program handles the web calls/conferencing.

I'd have to get a mic but I think I could swing that.

Thanks. My flight out was delayed, due to "weather conditions" out of Newark, or some BS, so I am forced to leave in about 4 hours, rather than being there already. Will lose more than half a day, multiple dollars (around $300) for loss of the hotel room that was pre-arranged for the arrival (I was to meet my oldest brother and his new girlfriend, and hang out in Los Angeles with them for a day or so, and then go to my second oldest brother's wedding; those plans have now been ruined.) That, though, does not piss me off as much as not getting to spend as much time with my fiancee at The Bodhi Tree (its a used bookstore [they have a website if you wanna look]) which caters to the type of material I find fascinating and intriguing (its where I found my copy of The Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Demonology, which strangely enough has been seen in an episode of The Flying Circus by Monty Python.) Anyway, at the moment, I am both very tired (I do not sleep before major travel... its a weird thing for me) meaning I've now been awake for 42 hours (not abnormal, but annoying since I want to sleep.)

Ack. Well, thanks for the kind words and I'll try to answer some forum posts before I gotta get my Orca-ness to LAX! Smell ya, later as the deodarant king would have his prodigy rap, a little freestyle (wow, there's a lot of hidden allusions in that one!)

Heh, sorry to hear that, try hitting an attendant, it usually works well to ease the anxiety.
