Yggsburgh-Mad Gods Key-Dark Chateau

Post by Jupp »

Yesterday I was working on the basis for my very first C&C group
The game world is going to be Greyhawk, with Yggsburgh being located where the Ery and the Neen river meet.

I was wading through internet pages, Dungeon magazines and the Yggsburgh book.

What do you guys think about linking up the following things:

CZ: Yggsburgh

Dungeon 114 : Mad Gods Key (lvl 1-5 adventure by Jason Bulmahn)

Dark Chateau

From then on the players will have it in their hands on where they might go next. Though I will try to infuse some interest for Maure Castle once they start to come near the level requirement. It would also be quite funny if the key from "Mad Gods Key" could later turn out as the fabled Silver Key of Portals. But since they have given it back to the locksmiths it is going to be interesting to see how they might try to aquire this key Perhaps it is not even in the hands of that locksmith, perhaps he has moved to another part of the realm. Or there could be a race between the party and the seekers to get the key...who knows....

So back to topic: When I read through the different adventures I really got the feeling that they were made for each other. I am just not sure whether I should put Dark Chateau before Mad Gods Key or the other way around... *ponders*

Any ideas, tips, advise?

Ups...methinks this post swims in the wrong pond
Perchance one of the powers that be could throw this fish in the right pool?
