Character sheet creations....

Post by Inkpot »

Inspired by someone else's idea of printing a character sheet on both sides of a manila folder and using the interior to keep notes, etc., (no idea how they were able to print on a manila folder!), I decided to fiddle around a bit on my own.

What I eventually came up with is using those ultra-slim 3-ring binders with the transparent pockets on the outside. I slip the front page of my character sheet in the front pocket, and the back in the back pocket. It's spill-proof, has plenty of room for notes, handouts, etc. and I'm generally pleased with the results.

What have the rest of you come up with?

We have utilized the ultra slim binders from time to time as well. I really like that method.

I have very small handwriting, so I just use the PC Reference Sheets and write in the columns. I don't need a folder, but I take a binder just to have spare paper in case someone needs it, or if I need to pass the CK a note, like... what I'm looking to buy while in a city.

I also use the ultra-slim 3-ring binders for my PCs. I tend to take lots of notes, doodle, draw maps, etc with my PCs so I need the binder-action. Plus, it's cool to store various things in those polypropolyne [plastic] page protectors.

Good stuff.

Recently, in playing various characters of that other game, I have gone back to 1 page of good old fashioned 3-hole notebook paper. Yeah it's a lot of work, but it makes me feel a little bit better about playing that game.
