So yeah...I'm surprised no one has come up with a few solo adventures for C&C. It would make my job as a CK infinitely easier if I could just hand a printout to a prospective player, have them go through it on their own time, and then show up to the first game session all ready to play with a good knowledge of the mechanics.
YES, I know C&C is super easy to grasp, but I'm thinking of the time it would save - especially when you're starting with a group of people who are new to the game. So what do you think?

I've never been a huge fan of solo adventures. I understand why the fans may want them, but honestly I think solo play kills a certain, arguably important aspect of the game. That being said, I wouldn't mind reading solo adventures because I can always use them for my home games and tweek to necessity.
I will also admit though, that even during group play there is nice dynamic that can be added through a one-shot solo play session. For those pesky rogues who go off by themselves from time to time, a solo adventure might be nice.

Do it like those good oldies, a set of pregened characters to hand out.
Then the mod itself can be adjusted to scale with how many players your going to have. Generally 2 to 1 HD ratio works well at first level.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I think we've talked about this idea in the past, probably the old boards. It's a really great idea and I'd like to see the Trolls develop a mod and see how it sells. I think a lot of CK's would buy it, just for the fun of it and to keep our CK skills at the max, if you will ~ ya know, seeing how the other half survives)!!
