Taking a break

Post by Julian Grimm »

I hate to do this. I really do. This has nothing to do with anyone here at all. I have just decided it is time to step back for a bit. Things at the shop are heating up (more business, learning new CAD/CAM systems and such), A pregnant wife and house repairs are piling up. Add in that my sister and brother in law are in a mess with a six week premature baby and you see how hectic things are.

Also I have no players, no games going and hate designing things I'll never use. My last few dungeon levels are sitting collecting dust and I have little inspiration left when I'm in this type of dry spell. The only gaming I do have going is a bi-weekly M:TG game. I am trying to get the players there to C&C but no luck yet.

I do plan to stay in the loop and be involved with the C&CS but will not be doing much in the way of posting for awhile. In the meantime I plan on pulling my world stuff out and work on it (yes I have a hobby aside from gaming designing a world for fun) as well as catch up on some other things. Let's hope a few months away gets it all flowing again.

Keep in touch all.

AD&D per se is as dead a system as Latin is a language, while the C&C game has much the same spirit and nearly the same mechanics. --Gary Gygax 8/16/06

I hear what your saying Julian. I hope you recharge your batteries and have your life calm down faster than you expect.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

You can rest assured the Crusades will always continue on. When you are done with your mission, return to the ranks and we will draw swords together once again.

Believe me, I understand completely where you're coming from.
Hang in there.

With all that going on, taking a break from C&C is understandable.

Hopefully, we'll see you here later.

Real Life > RPGs.

Sad but true. We'll keep the seat warm for you.
