Congrats on the score -- especially with the Codex and the Wilderlands Player's Guide!

Gawds I envy you. I've been trying to get the Wilderlands PG for the last month+.
I ordered it from RPGShop.com, and a month after not getting it and a bevy of lame excuses (including "the shipping system changed your zip code" - yeah, like I believe that one), I finally gave up and ordered elsewhere - from Canada. I'm hoping that it will come in sometime this week or next. And lucky you, got it for only $5....
Congrats.

That's a bitter-sweet post to read. Sweet because you got an awesome deal! Bitter because it means the store no longer wants to carry the products.

Indeed, Dristram... It is a sad, sad thing indeed. I'd rather see the store selling a dozen copies of each at full retail. That would mean the games are in demand, there are more players out there, publishers would be making money, and the whole market would be in a much healthier position.
Such sales may be a good thing for individuals, but they are bad for us all as a whole...

Well they suprised me and had new TLG stuff for regular retail, and had some necromancer and SW stuff too....
I think they figured these were older stock, so they thought it wasn't going to sell... They actually have a fairly wide selection and not just WOTC/WW...

I always find the best stuff in the clearance section of my local shop, which is good and bad at the same time.

Well, now that I look over the products again, they are very much older products. I guess price cutting old stock isn't that bad of a sign. Especially if the newer stuff if still being ordered and carried.
